The most recent meeting between the Blackhawks and Ducks lived up to expectations. Trailing 2-1 with less than six minutes remaining in regulation, the Ducks scored twice in a 64-second span and then added anempty-netter for a 4-2 victory March 20 in Anaheim. Teemu Selanne netted the 3-2 goal, the 670th of his illustrious career and his 107th game-winner.

Only two points separate sixth-place Los Angeles and seventh-place St. Louis in the tight Western Conference race. The Kings and Blues, who have identical records (6-4-0) in their last 10 games, will meet for the third and final time at Scottrade Center in St. Louis on Thursday at 8:00p.m. ET in the NHL Network-U.S. “Game of the Week.”

The Network’s team of insiders and analysts also will provide intermission reports that bring viewers up to speed on news and scores from around the League. NHL Tonight, hosted by Kathryn Tappen, will air following the conclusion of the game.

Saturday will feature two Eastern Conference games on the Network broadcast schedule. The first pits Boston against Philadelphia at 1:00 p.m. ET. CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada then brings viewers a classic Original Six match-up, when the New York Rangers meet the Montreal Canadiens at 7:00 p.m. ET live from the Bell Centre.
