At a time when other Canadian teams — Calgary. primarily — are having trouble getting players to stay. and when there is a widespread belief that tax differences between Canada and certain U.S. states is creating a problem for Canada’s seven clubs, being able to lure players like Bertuzzi away from American clubs is a useful process.
