from Jeff Gordon of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch,
- Since Dec. 1, Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has allowed two goals or fewer in 29 of his 43 appearances while posting a .926 save percentage.
- Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky is on a nice run (14-7-0 with six shutouts and a 0.930 save percentage since early February) which will drive up his value as an unrestricted free agent.
- While the Florida Panthers are widely speculated to be the prime suitor for Bobrovsky this summer, that franchise still has 900-year-old Roberto Luongo under contract for three more years and useless James Reimer on board for two more. Luongo might be amenable to going on long-term injured reserve for three years so he can get on with his comfortable life in South Florida.
