from Mike Boone of Hockey Inside/Out,
Your previously unbeaten heroes are 0-for-western Canada.
And after blowing a 3-0 lead and losing to an Edmonton team in constant rebuild mode, the Canadiens travel south to play the Flames in Calgary on Friday night.

In his postgame media scrum, Michel Therrien said the loss was “very difficult to accept.”
The coach focused on the Canadiens’ effort – or lack of same – in the second period. Leading 3-0, the Canadiens were outshot 11-5. And Tomas Fleischmann had been in the penalty box for 37 seconds at the end of the period when rookie Leon Draisaitl brought the Oilers back into the game with the first of his two scores.
“We played fancy,” Therrien said of the second-period woes. “We lost puck battles and abandoned our game plan.”
