LosAngeles Kings forward Jordan Nolan has been fined $1,436.94, the maximum allowed under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for cross-checking Vancouver Canucks forward Henrik Sedin in NHL Game No. 458 in Los Angeles on Saturday, March23, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 5:58 of the second period. No penalty was assessed to Nolan on the play.
As a first-time offender, the maximum Nolan could be fined was the lesser of $10,000 or one-half of his daily salary.
