NEW YORK/TORONTO/GOTHENBURG (Sept. 3, 2018) – As part of the 2018 NHL Global Series™, the National Hockey League (NHL®), the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and Live Nation today announced a special opportunity for fans to attend New Jersey Devils and Edmonton Oilers team practices on Friday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. CET at Scandinavium in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Tickets to Oilers and Devils practices will be available for purchase during a 47-hour pre-sale opportunity made available by visiting Nocco’s Instagram account and www.nocco.se/nhl beginning at 9 a.m. CET on Wednesday, Sept. 5. Tickets will be available for purchase to the public beginning on Friday, Sept. 7 at 9 a.m. CET at https://www.livenation.se/. All tickets are available at a fan-friendly price of 150 SEK. Ticket opportunities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

The Devils and Oilers will face off at Scandinavium on Saturday, Oct. 6. Viasat and Viaplay will locally broadcast the 2018 NHL Global Series™, which is sponsored by adidas, SAP, Blåkläder, Hankook, Nocco, Scandic and Expressen.

The 2018 NHL Global Series™ will mark the seventh season the NHL has traveled to Europe to play regular-season games. These games reward the legion of loyal and passionate international fans by featuring some of the NHL’s biggest stars and generating interest in the League worldwide. The Devils-Oilers matchup on Oct. 6 will be the 23rd NHL regular-season game played in Europe, the 11th such game played in Sweden, and the first NHL regular-season game played in Gothenburg.

Prior to the New Jersey-Edmonton season-opening matchup, the Devils and Oilers will complete their training camps in Europe and will each play in an exhibition match as part of the 2018 NHL Global Series Challenge™. The Devils will report to Bern, Switzerland, and play an exhibition game against SC Bern on Monday, Oct. 1 at PostFinance Arena at 7:30 p.m. CET. The Oilers will report to Cologne, Germany, and play an exhibition game against Kölner Haie on Wednesday, Oct. 3, Germany Unity Day, at Lanxess Arena at 4 p.m. CET. The New Jersey-SC Bern matchup will be broadcast locally on Teleclub and the Edmonton-Kölner Haie game will be broadcast locally on Sport1.

The games in Bern, Cologne and Gothenburg will feature some of the NHL’s top talent from across the world, including natives of Switzerland, Germany and Sweden. The Devils roster includes 2018 Hart Trophy winnerTaylor Hall, Switzerland natives Nico Hischier and Mirco Mueller, and Sweden natives JesperBratt,Marcus Johansson and Eddie Lack. The Oilers roster includes 2018 Ted Lindsay Award winner Connor McDavid, Germany Natives Leon Draisaitl and Tobias Rieder, and Sweden natives Pontus Aberg, OscarKlefbom and Adam Larsson.

In addition to the Devils-Oilers contest in Gothenburg, the 2018 NHL Global Series will visit Helsinki, Finland, where the Florida Panthers and Winnipeg Jets will face off in pair of regular-season games on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 at Hartwall Arena.
