By Joe Sudberg,

The NHL fan support from the East Coast is showing its presence when scouring over the secondary market for NHL tickets this week, as only one team from the Western Conference makes its way into the four most expensive games from November 2nd through November 8th.

The Calgary Flames are the lone Western Conference representative in the top-five games this week as they host the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday night with an average ticket price of $243.78 with a get-in price of #91. It is the third most expensive NHL tickets on the secondary market according to TiqIQ.com.

11/7/2015 | Montreal Canadiens vs. Boston Bruins | Centre Bell | Average Price: $265.16 | Get-in Price: $106

11/6/2015 | Edmonton Oilers vs. Pittsburgh Penguins | Rexall Place | Average Price: $247.90 | Get-in Price: $66

11/7/2015 | Calgary Flames vs. Pittsburgh Penguins | Scotiabank Saddledome | Average Price: $243.78 | Get-in Price: $91

11/6/2015 | Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Detroit Red Wings | Air Canada Centre | Average Price: $224.28 | Get-in Price: $76

Calgary being on the list this week proves how rabid fans from Canada are for their hockey, as the Flames are off to one of the slowest starts in the NHL this season sitting at 3-8-1 with seven total points through 12 games.

The Pittsburgh Penguins find themselves in two of the top three games this week, facing the Edmonton Oilers on November 6th with an average ticket price of $247.90 and a get-in price of $66 before the aforementioned game against Calgary the following night. The most diehard fans can attend either road game through Hipmunk.com, where flights from Pittsburgh can have fans in a seat at Rexall Place or Scotiabank Saddledome. With the Oilers game having a lower get-in price ($66 compared to ($91), fans can complete the travel logistics by finding Edmonton hotel deals on Hipmunk starting from $56 per night.

In a usual trend, the Montreal Canadiens have the most expensive game of the week when they host the Boston Bruins at Centre Bell on Saturday night with an average ticket price of $265.16 and a get-in price of $106. The Canadiens have begun a new win streak after they couldn’t reach the historic 10-0-0 start to the season, but will settle for a 11-2-0 start through 13 games, accumulating 22 points in the young season. In the top-10 most expensive games played this season to date, the Canadiens have been involved in three of them.
