Corey Perry On His Suspension

Corey Perry figured that he would receive some form of discipline from the NHL for his hit on Minnesota's Jason Zucker and the possibility of him being out of the Ducks' lineup was realistic.
But a four-game suspension? That one didn't enter the winger's mind.

"I think it’s caught a lot of people off guard," Perry said. "It is what it is. We just move on, like I said before. People are going to have their own opinions. Just play it out."

Perry will not only be missing from Thursday night's game against the Dallas Stars but he'll miss contests on Saturday in St. Louis and two next week at home against San Jose and Chicago. He'll return next Friday against Detroit.
