12/08/2015 at 6:30pm EST

By Joe Sudberg,

When looking at NHL tickets on the secondary market for this weekend’s matchups, there are only three games that are above the $200 average ticket price and two of the games will be played at the same location.

It will be a celebratory night at the United Center in Chicago on Friday, December 11th when fans will receive a replica Chicago Blackhawks championship ring upon entrance into the stadium. The average ticket price for the game against the Winnipeg Jets is $238.33 with a get-in price of $103 and fans may be best suited to wait closer to the first drop of the puck. Although it has been small dips, the average ticket price has been consistently dropping since December 1st when the average price was $262.89.

The Blackhawks are also involved in the third and fourth most expensive NHL tickets this week on the secondary market. On Sunday, December 13th the Blackhawks host the Vancouver Canucks with an average ticket price of $200.49 with a get-in price of $73 and on December 10th the Blackhawks are on the road against the Nashville Predators, which is garnering an average price of $191.21 with a get-in price of $62. Both games are always trending down, sporting weekly trends of -11% and -32% respectively.

To be one of the fans who receive a replica championship ring or take in any of the other live hockey at the United Center this weekend, Hipmunk.com has cheap Chicago flights for a hockey weekend away. Chicago hotels on Hipmunk can be paired with the flight to enjoy the city before and/or after the Blackhawks game.

In the second spot is the NHL’s best team, the Montreal Canadiens, hosting the Ottawa Senators at Centre Bell on December 12th with an average ticket price of $208.92 with a get-in price of $68. As with the other games, the weekly trend has been negative but has been slight. On December 1st, the average ticket price was $243.58.

The Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers squaring off at Rexall Place on December 11th round out the top-five most expensive games this week. The average ticket price of $155 and get-in price of $38 are sure to dip, as the game has a weekly trend of -25%.
