- The Maple Leafs’ record is impressive. They’re playing at a 107-point pace. That would represent the third best season in club history. What’s not impressive: Their puck management, their play without the puck, and their overall team structure. That must be driving the coaching staff nuts. A seasoned NHL observer noted: “This is the weakest Leafs team of the past four to five years.”
- Who saw this coming? The Arizona Coyotes playing great hockey, and maybe, finally, having a plan to build a home.
