NEW YORK, March 16, 2022 – New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has acquired forward Frank Vatrano from the Florida Panthers in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The fourth-round pick Florida receives from the Rangers will be the later of the two fourth-round selections the Rangers own (either their own fourth-round pick or Winnipeg’s fourth-round pick).

Vatrano, 28, has recorded 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points in 49 games and has notched one power play goal with Florida this season. It is the fifth time in his career he has scored 10 or more goals in a season.
