from Adrian Dater of the Denver Post,
If all goes well, Matt Duchene will miss only a week of action with the Avalanche because of an oblique injury.
That was the word Sunday from Avalanche coach Patrick Roy, who said Duchene and the team's medical staff informed him a week off will be needed for Duchene to recover from the injury.
"We will hope it's not more than that, but (Duchene) said he would need about a week," Roy said.
