Teddy Ballgame Kulfan ran a game day story about the same time as Holland's muse, Helene, did. After he actually used a line from Babcock stating, for the 78th time this year that he believes his team is on the exciting cusp of "a run", he got to the part that prefaced Helene's...interpretation. Kulfan's quotes were missing that pivotal line.

Not a quote. Paraphrased. Even Kulfan would have seen the news value had Blashill said that in an open forum kind of deal. St. James got the magic quote. Nobody else did. Maybe she read it on Nice Mike Babcock's private Myspace page. Maybe he whispered it to her. Maybe he signed it to her or tapped it in morse code via blinks of his glazed eyes.

Whatever.

Blashill is an idiot for uttering and Helene St. James is borderline flatlining, and I mean barely above basic formation of thought, like three-word vocabulary dense, like wade through mud to drink Hamms beer chased by Yoohoo while wearing a full-length onesie with a charcoal sketch of Keith Tkachuk spread prodigously across the ass, that kind of dumb, for writing it.

A nice diversion on a Friday as we wait anxiously for a 9pm start to a game means nothing.
