Grand Rapids Extends Curt Fraser Contract

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday announced that Curt Fraser has signed a new two-year contract to remain the team’s head coach through the 2011-12 season.

He better have a good year this year, assuming the call-ups don’t kill the Griffins again.  Even with the call-ups last season I thought they under-achieved, and it hurt the development of those still there.  I know W’s and L’s are secondary to the player development, but you saw last year that the development wasn’t very good.
