With just two NHL pre-season games left on their slate, the Flames puck-stopping situation — specifically, who inherits the starting job from just-retired Miikka Kiprusoff? — remains unsettled.
“Still don’t know,” Flames head coach Bob Hartley said after Sunday’s training camp session at WinSport’s Markin MacPhail Centre. “They’ll have, basically, to prove themselves on a daily basis.”
