Actually, these are the amount of time played in overtime, not the entire length of the games. To get that just add another 60 minutes to the above totals for regulation time played.
I pretty much fell asleep reading the live blog. Very enjoyable watching these two teams battle it out, especially having no horse in the race.
Nice goal, though you could see Anderson just wasn't as responsive as usual - I would bet that's a save he makes in Regular time normally. Can't blame him though - I can't imagine how exhausted they all were.
This is going to be an excellent series without a doubt.
That was a really fun game to watch. Lots of skating and battling along the dashers. The Canes wanted the puck on Brent Burns' stick in the offensive zone as much as possible. The Cats have their Drew Doughty in one incredible defenseman, Brandon Montour, and playing him the most minutes of any skater on the ice.
Glad to have witnessed it.
