Makar turned to watch the puck around the back of the goal and lead with his chin into carters shoulder. Charter pulled away feom the full check and happened to make some contact. Announcers are idiots.
Should have checked spelling. Meh oh well.
Don't forget about the edit feature RGEP.
Tough call, it does not look intentional, NHLers are so good they can disguise very well, but to me, it looks like he's gonna make contact, pulls up some, then at the same time Makar turns his head and leans it a bit, if Carter isn't way taller, the point of contact isn't his head.
Today's player safety first standards though, it's a game suspension.
If that was our star player, I assume our announcers would go all kindergarten mom too.
Head down, watching the puck. Carter on a drive by and Makar turns into him. Get yur head up sport, yur not a rookie anymore.
Murray! "...our announcers would go all kindergarten mom too." I chuckled, I did. But yannow Mick would call it straight!
LGRW !!!!!
That was some terrible overreactive homer announcing. The hit may have been inappropriate and certainly deserving of a penalty but it isn't near as bad as they made it out to be.
Mickey is one of my favorites because he calls things straight. He isn't afraid to dog the home team or call out good plays by the visiting team. That and he doesn't talk too much and if he does, at least it is about hockey.
