Best of luck to both teams.
The @Canes will look to reach their first #StanleyCup Final in 17 years, while the @FlaPanthers aim to end a 27-year drought of their own.

Who will come out on top in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final? #NHLStats: https://t.co/tdhk9O79dJpic.twitter.com/ezzy7Zfuxs
Should be fun.
I am expecting a high scoring game, more than 8 goals combined.
Wow.
Hey Paul and Frog
Any lurkers have a link? My stream died (not that one)
onhockey dot tv
streameast dot xyz
If you don't mind French.
Thank you Paul
Hey dog! Lurking but no link.
0-1 Canes
BS 5 on 3
1-0 Carolina on the Pittsburgh 5 on 3.
Outstanding PK by the Canes.
It's 6:30 PM here in Vegas and it's a balmy 97 deg F.
Me and my bad manners: what up you beautiful inmates.
Hey SYF! We’re in lockdown…..😉
MTkachuk and his mouthguard oral fixation.
Ewww...
1-1 Cats score
Saw that one happening a mile away.
Tied at 1-apiece.
2-1 Cats
2-1 Cats against a double-shifted pair of Canes defensemen.
That's already two lead changes in the game already. We were told it was gonna be a fun series.
2-1 Cats after two periods. They are doing well as long as no more Pittsburgh 5 on 3's are called against them.
The stream I'm watching is mute by default so it's nice not hearing Eddie Olddick flapping his gums.
Once again, thank god for CBC.
Not nice to brag, Boss. ;-)
2-2 Canes tie it up
PPG for the Canes. Tied at 2-apiece.
What a game!
Great game!
2-2.
Howdy all. Just in to see the tying goal by the Caines.
That’s one of the things I miss. The games from CBC from across the river.
Truthfully, I try to post the goals from HNIC just to give many of you some memories.
Good memories. Thanks Paul.
Tthe most Canadian city that has stuck with us forever. Right now Moose Jaw sticks with me along with Flin Flom.
Appreciate that boss.
Hey CG!
Hey there Dawg. Hope all is well for you and yours.
Many PP for the Canes.
I'm sure they're gonna even out when they get to Sunrise.
Too many. Let them play refs!
"Let's Get Nuts!" Eh???
What's wrong with your nuts?
Kind of amazing that the final 4 teams are south of the Mason-Dixon Line with the Caines the northern most team.
You should check out some Canadian sites and how many there think it's a Gary's conspiracy to not let
Canadian teams to win the Cup and that all those 4 remaining teams are somehow beneath them and undeserving compared to Canada.
Check your bearings CN, Ron MacLean said Vegas tonight and I actually heard the same a few days ago.
Just looked up the latitude lines and Raleigh is less than 1 degree more north.
Thanks, going to ask for a challenge on this one. I would have thought Raleigh too.
latlong.net.
Raleigh, NC: 35.779591 lat, -78.638176 long
Las Vegas, NV: 36.169941 lat, -115.139832 long
14 shots for Canes in the 3rd, Panthers have 1.
It's not even close, but the game in the third feels like it's about 60% in FLA's end of the ice.
OT folks
And we go to OT: the greatest spectacle in team sports.
This is what makes it the best sport on the planet.
O.T.
I'm picking Larionov in OT.
Couldn't have been won by a more cerebral player than Igor. Absolute gem of a play.
Cats win 3-2. Nope.
Cats win- NOT!
No goal
Play on says Torannah.
I step away for a little while and we have our first drama - a no-goal in OT.
Can't get more intense than that.
The other beauty of OT? Minimal commercials
i should have hit the head during the ice scrape. Now have to hold it.
Aye. They should rip off companies that want to advertise in NHL OT.
Bar down but not in.
More OT
This is beautiful. Second OT coming up.
Gonna be sniffing an awful lot of smelling salts.
Here we go
Here we go! 2nd OT.
Neither keeper giving up any chance for a reebie. They're both just smothering the pucks and stopping play.
2-2 after the Second O.T. Will watch from bed now. See you on Friday night.
👍
How 'bout that: 3OT coming up.
Monster toe save by Andersen on Montour just two feet in front of him.
Both keepers are getting bigger and bigger in the net for both teams. An epic game.
4OT!!!
The latest I stayed up for a hockey game was Wings/Ducks game. Shanny scored in 2ot and I looked at the time, 1:42am. This one may beat it.
The Larionov 3OT was my longest, Boss.
Never thought in the 40+ years I've been watching hockey that I'd see a 4OT game.
4ot is very rare but the longest was in 1936 when Mud Bruneteau scored the winning goal at 16:30 of the sixth overtime in Detroit. He was a rookie and playing in his first playoff game.
Yeah, I was just looking at that: nearly 168 minutes of hockey.
Saw a tweet that said, If someone wins tonight, can they make it be a 2-0 series?
Yes, I lol'd in my belly.
4OT. Here we go!
It's about 10 mins to 2am and I am going to have to give up on a classic even if it is not finished or goes to 5OT...10 mins left on my viewing....kinda ridiculous for two eastern time zone teams....
shots on goal 49 to 65 (Carolina)
goal Florida on a mental mistake with 12.7 sec left in 4OT
Brent Burns lazy clear turnover by Slavin
It's FLA in 4OT. And it had to be a Tkachuk.
Wow. What a great game. An amazing game.
