BLUES OFFENSE BREAKS OUT IN GAME 4, SERIES TIED 2-2
The Blues snapped a scoreless drought of 156:59 with six goals in Game 4 – including the first four tallies of the contest – to defeat the Sharks and even the series 2-2.

* The Blues earned their sixth win as visitors in the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs, extending their franchise record for road wins in a single postseason. St. Louis improved to 11-3-0 in their last 14 road games dating to March 19 (regular season and playoffs).

* The Blues have scored six goals in three games of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs (also Game 3 of SR vs. DAL: 6-1 W and Game 7 of SR at DAL: 6-1 W). Per Elias, St. Louis has scored at least six goals in three or more games of a playoff year for the second time in franchise history. They registered four such games in 1986.

* Troy Brouwer (2-0—2) registered his second career multi-goal playoff game and first since Game 1 of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final vs. PHI (2-1—3 w/ CHI). Brouwer has scored seven goals in the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs (18 GP), matching the total from his first 78 career playoff games.

* Kyle Brodziak (2-0—2) scored his first career shorthanded goal and game-winning goal in the postseason – all in a span of 4:02 during the second period – to record his first career multi-goal playoff game.

* Jake Allen, who appeared in two games this postseason in relief of Brian Elliott(Game 6 of SR vs. DAL and Game 3 of CF at SJS), made 31 saves to win his first start of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs and improve to 3-4 (2.05 GAA, .911 SV%) in 10 career playoff appearances.

GAME 5 LOOMS LARGE
Via Elias, when teams are tied 2-2 in a best-of-seven Stanley Cup Playoffs series, the winner of Game 5 holds an all-time series record of 290-81 (78.2%). The Blues and Sharks will meet in Game 5 at Scottrade Center in St. Louis on Monday (8:00 p.m. ET on CBC, TVAS, NBCSN).
