With the goal, he passed Paul Kariya for sole possession of second place on the franchise’s all-time game-winners list (45). Perry leads the NHL with 26 game-winning goals since the start of the 2010-11 season, two ahead of the Lightning’s Steven Stamkos. He has posted 5-3—8, including three game-winners, and a +7 rating over his past seven contests.

* Captain Ryan Getzlaf recorded 1-1—2, his fifth multi-point game of the season. Getzlaf has 4-5—9 and a +7 rating in the team’s last seven games. He leads Anaheim, and ranks ninth in the NHL, with 7-11—18 in 17 games this season.

* Rookie defenseman Hampus Lindholm scored his first NHL goal, added an assist and finished with a +2 rating. He leads all rookies, and is tied for second in the League, with a +13 rating in 15 games this season. The sixth overall selection in the 2012 NHL Draft, Lindholm is the seventh defenseman age 19 or younger to score his first NHL goal in 2013-14: Minnesota’s Matt Dumba, Nashville’s Seth Jones, Pittsburgh’s Olli Maatta, Buffalo’s Rasmus Ristolainen, Winnipeg’s Jacob Trouba and Buffalo’s Nikita Zadorov.

* Forward Dustin Penner recorded a +2 rating and leads the League with a +15 rating in 10 games this season. Anaheim improved to 9-0-1 with him in the lineup.

WILSON POWERS PREDS
Colin Wilson tied a career high with four points (2-2—4), including the game-winning goal, to help the Predators hand the Avalanche their second loss of the season. Wilson’s only other four-point game came on March 8, when he totaled 2-2—4 in 6-0 victory over the Oilers. The 24-year-old native of Greenwich, Conn., ranks third on the Predators with 3-6—9 in 15 games this season.

THREE-MAN WEAVE
Patrick Kane, Patrick Sharp and Jonathan Toews each scored to help the Blackhawks pick up their second victory over the Jets in the past five days. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, each player has recorded more than 150 goals in their seven seasons as teammates, but Wednesday marked only the 12th time all three have scored in the same regular-season game. The trio did so four times during the 2010-11 season, but has accomplished that feat only four times since.

RANGERS CLOSE HOMESTAND ON HIGH NOTE
Henrik Lundqvist made 28 saves and five different Rangers scored to help the team close its four-game homestand with a 3-1-0 record. The Rangers have won five of their past seven contests after opening the season with a 2-6-0 record. They also have held their opponents to two or fewer goals in eight consecutive contests, their longest stretch since Dec. 31, 2009-Jan. 14, 2010 (also eight games).

DUCHENE STAYS HOT
Avalanche forward Matt Duchene scored his 10th goal of the season, tied for fourth in the League, and added two assists for his second three-point performance of 2013-14 (also 2-1—3 vs. Hurricanes Oct. 25). Duchene has 4-4—8 over his past five contests and leads the Avalanche with 10-7—17 in 14 games this season, including five multi-point efforts.

KANE LEADS JERSEY SALES FOR OCTOBER
Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane had the top-selling player jersey on shop.NHL.com, the official online store of the NHL operated by e-commerce provider Fanatics, for the month of October. Teammate Jonathan Toews, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk and Panthers goaltender Tim Thomas rounded out the top five.
