"We started pretty well. We kept pace and then, all of a sudden, we just quit and all of a sudden we don't play ice hockey anymore.
"I think we try and we want to play well but we just can't for 60 minutes. It's the small things. It's not anything major. It's just that extra bump, extra stride or extra pass.
"We can't string it together for a long period of time and then it's going to be back in the back of our net."
