I'm not going to watch the video of that incident because, well, I don't need that image in my life.

What I will say is about ten years ago I had a severe cut in my ankle and I had the strangest, "bright" pain I've ever experienced (imagine getting a papercut with aluminum foil).  The doc said I had nicked a tendon which was probably the pain I was experiencing.

The unexpected part of this was I had sharp shooting pains in my ankle/foot for years.  And you know how certain things or positions will make your feel fall asleep?  Well my foot would randomly fall asleep and fall asleep hard from doing nothing more than just sitting or standing.  There was one time I was riding the CTA in Chicago, my foot fell asleep as I was coming up to my stop and I couldn't get off the train!

I don't know what changed, but after about 5 or 6 years my instances were fewer and fewer and eventually disappeared.

That all said, if anything remotely similar happened to Kane it would severely limit his ability to play the game.  Hopefully it's nothing severe and he's able to get back into the game.  The game is better with him in it, and he's a better person while he's in the game.
