New Rangers Coach Alain Vigneault spoke to RDS' Stéphane Leroux about adjusting to life in New York City (roughly translated by yours truly):
We're getting used to the big city. Before I had a five minute drive to work, maybe fifteen if I walked slowly. In New York, I'm 25 miles from our training site. But New York...it's New York." Said the new Rangers Coach.
Vigneault got within one win of the Stanley Cup with the Canucks. Does he feel closer to the big prize with his new team? The head coach responds to that question with a smirk.
"I had a very good team in Vancouver. I hear I have a very good team here. I'll do some evaluating and gradually get to know my players in training camp. Maybe next time, I'll be able to give you a better answer"
Vigneault went on to say that he's exactly the same person he was in Vancouver, and he sees himself as a man with a job to do, and doesn't expect to change his approach.
