Wolski Traded To Florida

from TSN,

The New York Rangers have traded forward Wojtek Wolski to the Florida Panthers in return for defenceman Michael Vernace and a third-round draft pick in 2013.

The 25-year-old forward has tallied three assists in nine games for the Rangers this season. The Panthers primary interest in Wolski appears to be his prowess in the shootout.

Wow, a player AND a 3rd?  That seems a high price for an absolute dud like Wolski.

These are the kind of shrewd deals the Rangers have to make right now.

Wow, I just realized that the Panthers’ President and CEO Michael Yormark must’ve pissed his pants and threw a world-class hissy fit when his GM Dale Tallon made a deal with the Rangers.
