02/25/2021 at 9:49am EST

from Louie Korac at NHL.com,

Calvin Petersen made 35 saves to help the Los Angeles Kings to their sixth straight win, 2-1 against the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center on Wednesday.

Alex Iafallo and Andreas Athanasiou scored for the Kings (9-6-3), who have outscored their opponents 22-7 during the streak.

Los Angeles tied the Tampa Bay Lightning (Jan. 30-Feb. 9) for the longest winning streak this season.

"I think guys are playing like we expect to play," Petersen said. "We're all doing our jobs. We're not getting too far ahead of ourselves. We're taking it game by game. I think it's paying off for us. Guys are seizing the opportunities given to them. The older guys keep setting the tone. We're hoping to build off it."
