Arizona Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson is day-to-day with an upper-body injury suffered Monday against the Colorado Avalanche.
Coach Dave Tippett told the media after Arizona’s 3-1 loss in Colorado that he didn’t know the specifics of the injury and had not yet talked the medical personnel about it.
Ekman-Larsson injured himself after being slammed against the boards by Avalanche center Matt Duchene. He immediately got up and shuffled off the ice, heading to the locker room hunched over.
