Good morning Paul. Happy Saturday!

You have the wrong video posted. No biggie.

8 games for Kadri, wow. You can tell he is not a marque player.

8 games for that hit is rough IMO, but considering Kadri and history, making what is a one game suspension multiply into 8 is fair.  Play dirt bag SOB hockey, win dirt bag SOB prizes.

I really did not like the rationale though.  They’re saying he should’ve targeted his left shoulder, but doing so gives up body position should he have kept advancing to the net, Faulk also steps accelerating after the shot, and it wasn’t like he clearly wound up for Kadri to see he was shooting and leaning down, he could have easily kept going, passed the puck, or followed in on his shot.

The primary issue is that you can’t come blind side and make head contact, I would have much rather the explanation simply focus on the angle of hit requiring Kadri to compact his body lower to make the principal point of his contact into the center mass of his body, Kadri should’ve put that right should up in to his breast bone and flipped him.
