NEW YORK (Jan. 12, 2020) – New York Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for slashing St. Louis Blues defenseman Vince Dunn during NHL Game No. 698 in St. Louis on Saturday, Jan. 11, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 20:00 of the third period. Trouba was assessed a major penalty for slashing and game misconduct.
