I imagine many of you did not see Mr. Meeker in action, so...

Howie Meeker passed away today.

Part of my childhood and then a big part of my career.

Howie became an icon in broadcasting becoming the first real personality to join Hockey Night in Canada.

Spent many a night talking about hockey, politics & life with my pal Meeker.
