Two minute interference call on Malkin plus two for roughing in the dust up.

This will be lost in the Crosby 1000 point celebration. Malkin clearly left his feet and made initial and direct contact to the head. Absolutely should be a suspension, but if he even has to talk to the DoPS I won’t be the least bit surprised if he walks away with nothing worse than a fine.

CLEARLY a suspendable head shot

As expected, no hearing for Malkin. Yet you won’t hear a peep from the countless talking heads who chimed in about the Nyquist suspension being too lenient.

Surprised? Remember game 2 of the 2009 SCF’s when Malkin jumped Zetterberg? No action taken. Remember it’s Pittsburgh.

71 does this crap every once in a while but gets away with it since he gets star treatment. The nhl will give a ten game suspension to a guy who his a ref with a stick but Malkin won’t get anything for an intentional headshot.
