Why would there ever be a penalty on that play? Buff is pretty much just standing there and Stone launches right into him without looking up. His own fault.

D- If fpr me, I was stating a fact, not questioning it.

What bugs me, after every hit a scrum evoles. Stone is a BIG boy. Jerk Neal went talk to Buffy looking up at 260 lbs, SportsNet called Buffy a Predator.
Stone could have skated into the end boards full speed , that is what it looked like to me.
Hope Stone is OK, no playoffs anyway
I can still see that hit!

You must have saw a different hit? Buffy was like a missile and targeted Stone. A very well executed hit. Nice to see!!

Ottawa players on the bench yelling warning players when Buffy is on the ice. Sorry Kronner but Buffy is a step up with that size!

via the Ottawa Sun,
There was a huge hit with 8:01 left in the second and the Senators holding onto the lead. That’s when Dustin Byfuglien caught Stone with his head down near the Winnipeg blueline. It was a clean hit, however, and Stone, playing in his home town, went straight to the room but returned a few minutes later.
“He’s going to stay behind to get checked out. It’s got nothing to do with his head. It’s upper body,” said coach Dave Cameron. “Everybody was assuming it was a head injury. When it wasn’t, there was probably a lot of relief there.”

A missile?? Buff was barely moving. More like a freighter. Perhaps even a glacier.
