Evander Kane & Donut Buff is why they will never win in Winnipeg, They have some good Hard working Skilled Players But those 2 are TURDS.

& they should have won the game

“Steve Downie? Hey, this is Karma. I’ve been meaning to call you…”

But yeah, I agree that Buff should get a fine for this. It’s a total cheap shot. It’s unnecessary and stupid.

Bad play on Byfuglien’s part…really dangerous and deserving of at least a significant fine. Also, good on Downie for getting after Byfuglien and not milking the hit for everything it’s worth like 99% of players would.

Don’t understand how Buff stayed in the game after this? It’s not like it settled down either… The fights, scrums, and whacks continued. Could have made this very easy by giving him a game misconduct. Refs made more than a few questionable decisions in this one.

The worst part is the Penguins didn’t even get a power play out of it.  They gave Downie a penalty too for going after Buff.

Had the refs rewarded the pens a powerplay I think it would have been over with…. but instead it was chippy the entire rest of the game.
