Suspension? Seabrook is a repeat offender.
It really should be. There was nothing happening around the play to warrant anything like that, Seabrook was just trying to hurt the guy. This the kind of stuff that turns a lot of people off from hockey.
That said, I dont think he will get anything because the “Player Safetey” department is a joke.

He’ll be lucky if it is only bruised ribs. What a cowardly move. This is blatant intent to injure, and Seabrook ought to be taken out of the lineup for a few games at least. The only way to correct these infractions is hitting people in the wallet or in ice-time. Both is preferable.

Won’t happen, because like someone said “Player Safety” department is a joke. Last time Seabrook was suspended was for 3 games, repeat offender, this should be 5 games at least.
But again, won’t happen, since he is an “important” player on a team.

The most amazing part is that the ref standing 3 feet from them and staring right at them did not call it. Ref from neutral ice did.
Amazing.
