Video- Alex Stalock Knocks His Mask Off After Taking A Shot To It

via Kevin Kurz of CSNBayArea,

A strange series of events involving Stalock allowed the Islanders to tie it at 2-2. After taking a shot to the mask from Ryan Strome on a New York power play, Stalock swiped his helmet off of his head. Rather than whistling the play dead, the referees allowed it to continue and Anders Lee put it across the line at 2:27. The refs conferred afterwards, but it was allowed to stand.

The Sharks did lose the game 6-3.

bn, I do believe it is Jiggs McDonald with the play by play. Howie Rose may still be doing his Mets gig.

Yes, Jiggs McDonald is still doing the play by play as Howie is busy the Mets. And Shannon is a huge step up from Peter Ruttgaizer.
