from Jesse Rogers of ESPN Chicago,
Former Chicago Blackhawks goaltender and current free agent Marty Turco hasn’t signed with a new team but isn’t ready to retire.
“Yeah, I’m still looking,” 36-year-old Turco said via phone on Monday. “Teams go to camp next week so we’ll see.”
Turco’s hopes probably reside on a training camp injury or underwhelming performance either by a rookie or other veteran.
“I want to play some more,” Turco said. “I still think I can play in this league. I’m not ready for plans after hockey just yet.”
