Torres Fined For Elbow On Hejda

Phoenix Coyotes forward Raffi Torres has been fined $2,500, the maximum allowed under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for elbowing Colorado Avalanche defenseman Jan Hejda in NHL Game No. 549 in Denver on Thursday, Dec. 29, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
