The Anaheim Ducks Are The Latest Team To Lose To The Vegas Golden Knights

It doesn’t matter what type of team you put on the ice against the Vegas Golden Knights. A good team or a bad team. An injury-wracked team or a team that’s just about complete.

All of them find a way to lose to a determined first-year expansion group that continues to lead the Pacific Division.

Vegas spotted the Ducks a first-period goal and then systematically got its offense going while cashing in its chances for a fifth straight victory, a 4-1 decision Wednesday night at Honda Center as a season-high overflow crowd of 17,444 watched the NHL’s most improbable story continue to play itself out.

“It’s a long season,” Golden Knights center William Karlsson said. “But I feel confident. I think the whole team feels confident too. We’re just going to try to win more games and see where it ends up.”
