Tampa Bay Lightning Trade Eric Brewer To Anaheim Ducks

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired a third-round pick in 2015 from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenseman Eric Brewer, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced today.

The 2015 third round pick the Lightning received from the Ducks was previously acquired from the Edmonton Oilers.

Brewer goes to the Ducks with a $3.875M cap hit which expires at the end of the season.

Now, if he could only move Matt Carle. That guy is an unmitigated disaster.

Hedman out on IR still for TB. Man if Stevie Y can add a good player at trade deadline then his team could make a long run in the playoffs. Hedman is highly underrated and Stammer is of course world class sniper.
