Sharp Could Miss Three Weeks

from Adam L. Jahns of Inside The Blackhawks at the Chicago Sun-Times,

Forward Patrick Sharp had a slight limp Tuesday when he came to the United Center for the Blackhawks’ team picture.

Hours later, coach Joel Quenneville said he hopes to have his leading scorer back by the end of the regular season.

In other words, Sharp, who injured his left knee Sunday against the Phoenix Coyotes, is expected to miss up to three weeks.

“It’s not long term,” Quenneville said.

But definitely long enough. The Hawks have 10 games remaining.

“That’s basically how we’re looking at it,” Quenneville said.
