Sens Lose Goalie Craig Anderson To Hand Injury Suffered At Home

via Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun,

The Ottawa Sun has confirmed Anderson suffered a hand injury in an accident with a knife at home and will be out at least 10 days as a result of the injury. The Senators are recalling Robin Lehner from the club’s AHL affiliate in Binghamton.

Anderson, coming off a 32-save performance in a 5-2 victory over the Washington Capitals Wednesday, is going to have to see a specialist. The belief is he may have suffered tendon damage as a result of the incident.

Once he sees the specialist he could be out longer
