from Lou Michel, Jane Kwiatkowski Radlich and Dan Herbeck of the Buffalo News,
Three Buffalo Police detectives were seen meeting Kane outside the Central Booking Bureau in City Court around 11 a.m.. They put handcuffs on Kane and accompanied him into the City Court building. Kane turned and walked away from a Buffalo News reporter when she asked them if he had any comment.
Although Kane voluntarily turned himself in to police, he still proclaims his innocence and plans to fight the charges, his attorney, Paul J. Cambria, told The News.
“Without a doubt, he plans to defend himself against these charges,” Cambria said....
Sources familiar with the case told The News Kane will face one count of misdemeanor criminal trespass – for allegedly refusing to leave the bar.
added 5:27pm, The Buffalo News updated the story with this...
Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane was charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and harassment today in connection with an incident at a downtown Buffalo bar last month.

I’ll wait to pass judgement until Primus shows up to do a complete psychological/criminal profile on this kid…again.

Primus
Sure, if he ever stops talking about Wynona’s big brown beaver.

If this is true, the NHL should step in and do something. Too many instances being swept under the rug. How did the Jets find a taker for this kid? Sabre GM has crap on his face again.

As stupid as this is… sounds like something that will blow over quite easily.

Someone who has a pattern of assaulting “civilians”, including women?
And who has a related pattern of petulance, immaturity and irresponsibility
in the team context?
Who not only makes excuses and claims he’s done nothing wrong, but
actually tries to claim he’s being completely singled out?
Nope, not a big deal at all. I’m sure in spite of his talent, he’s on his way
out of the league. Why would a promising Sabres team full of young talent
- who apparently manage not to try and force women into cars by their hair
and or throat - need to put up with this guy’s toxic show?

Sadly, every major sports league is able to spin their players arrests into news hype and media coverage. Kane & Kane are the only guys in the NHL getting their names in the paper these days. I think short of murder, nobody cares what these guys do as long as the end result is people hearing about the Buffalo Sabres.
