If I’m Anaheim, I make this trade all day long. This must have fallen into their laps.

It is probably the worst trade all day. Makes no sense at all from the penguins perspective. How in the world do you give up on a kid who has played so well this season for a bum you traded away 2 years ago for a fourth round pick.

This is a head-scratcher. I think Despres, while improved, was dispensable, but Lovejoy doesn’t seem like anywhere near the return they should get for him. I hope there’s still a pick to be announced coming PIT’s way. Lovejoy is better than he was during his last stint in PIT, but it seems a shame to send a solid, young prospect for him.
