Open Post- The Colorado Avalanche Control Their Destiny Tonight

The Avs can win the Presidents' Trophy tonight with a win over the LA Kings.

Scenario is below and Nathan MacKinnon will not play again tonight.

PRESIDENTS' TROPHY WINNER, PLAYOFF BRACKET TO BE DECIDED TONIGHT
The Avalanche (38-13-4, 80 points) will clinch their third Presidents’ Trophy and the No. 1 seed in their division for the 12th time in franchise history if they defeat the Kings in any fashion tonight at Ball Arena. A Colorado win would also finalize the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs bracket, confirming First Round showdowns between the Avalanche and Blues as well as the Golden Knights and Wild.

The graphic provided is not accurate, it appears.

COL/LA is the game on NHLN, thus blacked out for me on ESPN+

So a bit of a tangent (that is easily moot if I just got a vpn) but….

ESPN+ gives me an error about my location for the Colorado game, but works fine for Vancouver game. It doesn’t say blackout, it gives error codes.

Everything the league has put out about the Colorado game does NOT have it on NHLN. But on their schedule page and NHL Network’s TV schedule, the Colorado game is listed.

So occam’s razor says NHLN / blackouts is the issue.

Maybe thats why I couldn’t stream the Vegas game last night from my phone….but my wife could? Me = Android and Wife = Apple.
