If you are watching HNIC, it’s John Bartlett and Garry Galley calling the game from the Sportsnet studios.

I don’t think broadcasters fall into the essential job, so they cannot travel to the US.

HNIC all the way! Tuned into NBC by accident and of course they’re talking about Preakness instead of… You know, the NHL playoffs. Par for the course.

Agreed sjk…, HNIC could be calling the game from Mars, I’d still watch them.  And let’s not even talk about the intermissions.

I’m demanding a new advanced analytics stay: goals caused by broken stick…My Sherwood PMP wouldn’t have collapsed like that…

Wilson being the one to open the scoring is like the opposite of poetic justice.

Ovie with a great hit to start.

PS Vancouver 3 games left. One point means they pass the Wings in the standings.

Hrudey tough on Vanecek, the Caps goalie who pulled his groin on the goal.  Hrudey says first off the goalie wasn’t ready (in position) on the goal.  He also said Vanecek should never pull a groin, wasn’t stretched out properly.

I did plenty of running around in my younger years. Middle school through college, cross country and track. And before college, I’d come home to play street hockey, football, basketball, etc until the sun went down.

Hardly ever stretched, never had an issue. My college coach told us it didn’t matter to him.

Hrudey can suck it, acting like Vanecek got injured on purpose.

Yeah that seemed unnecessarily harsh. Human bodies are strange things and shit happens.

The lack of overhead camera views are concerning to me. Why would they not show it to the audience? Transparency issues….
