Edmonton - General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with centre Gilbert Brule on a two-year contract.
Brule, 23, had 37 points (17G, 20A) in 65 games with the Oilers. He finished fourth in team scoring, second in goals and tied for first in game-wining goals with three.
“Gilbert made a big step last year in his development,” said Tambellini. “We are excited to have him here in Edmonton and look forward to his continued contribution to the team.”
