If the Avs’ 4-3 overtime victory over the two-time-defending Cup champs is any indication, this should be one of the most entertaining, competitive Stanley Cup Finals in recent memory.

And on the off chance it’s not, at least passionate Avs fans who waited 21 years for their favorite team to return to the Stanley Cup Final can in a nanosecond magically turn an arena into one giant Karaoke Night.

Granted, it’s one game, but what we’re seeing in front of us right now is truly special.

It’s not often you get two conference preseason favorites and arguably the two best teams in the league playing against each other in the Final. It’s not often you get two teams filled with historically good players at the peak of their eventual Hall of Fame careers.
