Mike Milbury believes that fighting no longer has a place in the game

Never in my life did I think that Mike Milbury would suggest that "it's time to end fighting," but Pro Hockey Talk's Mike Halford notes that Milbury did just that during Wednesday night's Bruins-Flyers broadcast:

He said something very similar a couple years ago on CBC, i seem to remember the rest of the panel piling on him for it.

It seems if what mike says is true, there is no need to ban it. Teams are sending the enforcers out the door and want more puck possession. If fighting continues id say he’s wrong.  You can’t say the teams don’t want it in the game when it continues to happen.
