Marchant & Ducks Talking Contract

It appears increasingly likely that veteran center Todd Marchant, who stands to become an unrestricted free agent July 1, will be back in a Ducks uniform next season.
The team has made a contract offer to Marchant, confirmed Ducks general manager Bob Murray, who plans to talk further with Marchant’s agent, Englewood, N.J.-based Lewis Gross, during next week’s NHL entry draft in Montreal.
“Hopefully, it can get done,” Marchant said.
