FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Stars defenseman Marc Methot will be out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury.
Stars general manager Jim Nill said Methot, who hasn't played since Nov. 6 against the Winnipeg Jets, had his knee scoped on Sunday.
"The leg was coming around, started to get his rehab, and skating and it didn't get better," Nill said. "Decided to have an MRI and get it scoped."
With Methot out, the Stars recalled defenseman Julius Honka from Texas of the American Hockey League. Honka has no points in six games with the Stars this season.
