Kings Trade Carcillo To The Rangers

from TSN,

The New York Rangers have added toughness, acquiring Daniel Carcillo from the Los Angeles Kings.

The Rangers surrender a seventh-round draft pick to acquire the 28-year-old forward.

In 26 games with the Kings in 2013-14, Carcillo has scored one goal and one assist, adding 57 penalty minutes.

If someone is dumb enough to acquire Carcillo, someone has to be slow enough to acquire Samuelsson.

At least Carcillo can be counted on for a suspension before the end of the season.  All Samuelsson does is blast slapshots off the glass.

Agreed. Then again, in all his struggles, has Samuelsson ever been worse than Cleary is now?  I’m very much not a fan of the Sammy signing, but it borders on diabolical that Babcock doesn’t play him. The only hope of moving him is if he plays. He has to play or be moved/waived.
